Timo Ritakallio

Timo Ritakallio has worked as President and Group Chief Executive Officer at OP Financial Group from 1st March 2018. Before that he worked at Ilmarinen Mutual Pension Insurance Company as President and Chief Executive Officer since 2015 and as Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer between 2008-2015. Previously Timo Ritakallio has worked for 20 years in various top management positions in the banking industry.

He has taken Master’s degree in law (LL.M.) in the University of Turku in 1985, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Helsinki University of Technology, Helsinki in 2001 and AMP (Advanced Management Program) in Harvard Business School, Boston, USA in 2006. In 2016 he left Aalto University with a degree of Doctor of Science (Technology).

Christoffer Malmer

Mr. Malmer joined SEB in 2011 as Head of Financial Institutions Coverage, before becoming a member of the Group Executive Committee as Head of the Wealth Management division in 2015. In 2016, he became Co-Head of the Corporate & Private Customers division within SEB.
In April 2018 Mr. Malmer was appointed Head of the SEBx-project, a strategic initiative to explore new technologies and new customer offerings.

Prior to joining SEB, Mr. Malmer spent nine years at Goldman Sachs in London where he in 2007 was made Managing Director and head of the European Equity Research Team, covering Financial Institutions. In 2009, he moved back to Sweden and spent two years advising Arrowgrass Capital Partners on investments in Financial Institutions. Christoffer Malmer earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Business Administration at the University of Lund in 2000.

During her career Katja Keitaanniemi has worked in various management positions in the banking industry and she has also served in the boards of several Finnish enterprises and publicly funded agencies. Keitaanniemi has been on the list of Finland’s most powerful female executives by the business weekly Talouselämä in 2020, 2021 and 2022.

Katja has a Licentiate of Science from Helsinki University of Technology (Paper Technology & Industrial Management) and is also Harward Alumni.

Christin Tuxen, Nordic Head of Direct Banking / Director Business Customers. For Christin Tuxen, it is about creating the best financial framework so that business can help society on its way. With a somewhat nerdy background as a PhD in economics and statistics, combined with more than ten years of experience as a strategist in the currency, fixed income and commodity markets, where she has advised the largest Nordic corporate and institutional clients, Christin has a unique insight into how business, financial markets and social economy play together. On a daily basis, she is responsible for Danske Bank’s more than 150,000 small business customers across the Nordic region and thus has her finger directly on the pulse of business life

Aki Kangasharju

Phd (econ) Aki Kangasharju is the Managing Director at the ETLA Research Institute. Before joining ETLA he was the chief economist at the Nordea bank and headed the VATT Institute for Economic Research. During his academic career, Kangasharju published numerous papers in refereed journals and visited international universities, such as the MIT. Kangasharju has also had official posts as a board member at the Innovation fund TEKES and University of Jyväskylä. Currently, Kangasharju is a docent in economics at the university of Jyväskylä.

Nisha Surendran

ICG Lead for Metaverse, NFT, Tokenization & New Protocols

Nisha works for the Digital Assets team at the Citi Institutional Clients Group.

Nisha also co-authored the recently published Citi GPS report on “Metaverse and Money : Decrypting the Future”, a 184-page analysis on the evolving topics of Metaverse, Web3, Crypto, and DeFi. The report hit 100,000+ downloads in just over 6 months of publication.

A computer-science engineer by background, Nisha has a strong interest in technology and the intersection of technology and finance.

Prior to this, Nisha helped build the Citi Commercial Bank business in Western Europe & Israel, covering start-ups and technology clients since 2018, and was recently leading eCommerce strategy for Citi Commercial Bank in EMEA.

Nisha started her career in 2008, and has had stints in multiple banks across India and UK. Apart from her engineering degree, Nisha also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, India.

Sarah Häger is the Regional Manager for Scandinavia and DACH in Enable Banking where she is evangelising Open Banking, Open Finance and Financial APIs to further accelerate innovation in the financial industry. She has previously worked in several countries (Europe-wide) and along the value chain, with the main mission to provide value for the corporate customers. Her last responsibility in Nordea was to take the open banking vision from PowerPoint to the multi awarded solution of today. She is passioned about innovation, technology and to create commercial opportunities out of regulation.

Lasse Mäkelä, born 1971 in Finland, is the Chief Strategy and IR Officer of Multitude. He joined Multitude in 2021 to head the mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities. In addition to this, Lasse leads external communications and is an active contributor to the overall Group strategy, which strongly bridges to IR. Lasse is an international financial and M&A executive with 20 years of broad experience from various investment banking and finance roles. As founder and CEO of Invesdor Ltd., Lasse substantially contributed to the growth of the Invesdor investment platform starting from 2012, growing it to 35 people in five countries in eight years and leading more than 170 fundraising rounds to target companies together with the team. From 2005 to 2012 Lasse worked in management roles with responsibility in M&A, Finance and CFO functions at KONE Corp, Consti Group and Corbel Holding. From 1997 to 2005 he worked at investment bank Merrill Lynch in London and Icecapital Securities in Helsinki focusing on M&A transactions and financing.  Lasse holds a BSc of Banking and International Finance from City University, London, and an EMBA from Aalto University, Helsinki.

PARKING
If you arrive by car, you may use the nearby parking hall called “Rokkiparkki”, located 400 meters from our hotel (Välimerenkatu 12). Parking fee is 27€ / 24 hours and this is paid through the Easypark app. This is the only payment method for the parking hall.

Please also notice that you must activate camera parking – function from the app so that the system will read your registration plate and let you into the hall. Please contact the hotel reception if you have a foreign car registration number.
